RFID Electronic Cylinder Identification/Tracking System
Our state of the art electronic cylinder identification and tracking systems employs UHF RFID technology based turnkey solution denoted ULTRA from QID Technologies. The technology is designed to track/monitor individual cylinder movement throughout the production process to customer site deliveries, empty cylinder pick-up to customer-centered supplier managed inventory as outlined below
Customer Site Deliveries: An AIM 3000 handheld reader is used to scan cylinders loaded on trucks designated for delivery and item level delivery confirmation is obtained using a built in signature pad, then portable printer prints a delivery receipt for customer records. All delivery transactions are uploaded real-time into AGP network.
Customer Site Pickups: Using the AIM 3000, empty cylinders are scanned and picked up for returns. Pickup confirmation is provided on site by AGP driver, the driver prints pick-up receipts for customer records. All pick-up transactions uploaded real-time into AGP network.
Automated Supplier Managed Inventory: Our customer-centered automated caged inventory management system or supplier managed inventory keeps track of customer cylinder usage real time and ensures customers a smooth supply of inventory at all times. The system also creates advance notification of orders based on mutually established minimum/maximum inventory levels.

Safety: Cylinders identified by at least one person in the inspection area as unusable will be stopped from being filled before a retest has been done. Easy re-calling process as all cylinders are tagged with lot-numbers and part numbers.
